Aitra — Data Deletion Request

Data Deletion Request

Last updated: August 9, 2026

In short. The Aitra app has no user accounts and does not collect your name, email, phone number, or contacts. It only uses anonymous identifiers to enforce free‑usage limits and verify subscriptions. You can request deletion of any data associated with your anonymous identifier at any time by emailing aitra@aitraapp.com.

1. About the Aitra app and your data

This page explains how to request deletion of data related to your use of the Aitra mobile application ("Aitra", "the App"), provided by the Aitra developer. Because the App has no sign‑in and no user account, we do not hold information that identifies you personally. We hold only anonymous, app‑generated identifiers and the usage records tied to them.

2. How to request deletion

  1. Send an email to aitra@aitraapp.com with the subject line Aitra Data Deletion Request.
  2. Because Aitra has no account, we cannot look you up by name or email. If you happen to know the Aitra anonymous user ID associated with your device, including it helps us locate and remove the exact record faster. If you cannot provide it, we will still act on your request on a best‑effort basis.
  3. We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days and email you when it is done.

You can also delete most data yourself instantly by uninstalling the App (this removes all on‑device data) and by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in your device settings.

3. What data is deleted

Upon a valid request we delete the data associated with your anonymous identifier, including:

DataDeleted
Anonymous usage record (daily/monthly translation counts, Face‑to‑Face minute usage, rewarded‑ad bonus counters, subscription‑verification cache) keyed to your anonymous IDYes — permanently deleted
Purchased Face‑to‑Face minute balance and the transaction identifiers used to credit itYes — permanently deleted (unused paid minutes are forfeited)
Any error/diagnostic entries linked to your anonymous IDYes — permanently deleted

4. What data is not affected (and why)

DataStatusReason
Screenshots and microphone audioNothing to deleteNever uploaded or stored by us. Screenshots are processed on your device; live‑translation audio is streamed only to produce the translation and is not retained.
Shared translation cacheNot individually deletableTranslated snippets may be cached keyed by a one‑way hash of the input and are not associated with your identity or your anonymous ID, so they contain no personal data to link back to you.
Purchase / subscription records held by Google Play & RevenueCatManaged by those providersPayment and subscription history is retained by Google Play and RevenueCat as required for billing, tax, and legal obligations. Manage these through your Google Play account; see their privacy policies.

5. Retention

Anonymous usage counters are short‑lived by design and are periodically reset (daily and monthly). When you send a deletion request, the record tied to your anonymous ID is removed within 30 days. Data that we are legally required to keep (for example, transaction records held by our payment providers) is retained only for the period required by law.
